In the Mahabharata, the warrior, Arjun shown disinterest to fight in the battle field against his brothers, teachers, elders and relatives and he was unhappy for winning such battle by killing his own people. In that context, Lord Krishna explained many aspects to Arjuna and cleared all his doubts and subsequently Arjuna realized with the knowledge given by lord Krishna. The “Bhagavad-Gita” is the teachings of Lord Krishna explained to Arjun on variety of subjects to educate Arjuna at that context. It is told by many scholars that Bhagavad-Gita is the essence of all VEDAS and is very relevant to our lives.

In recent days Dr. D. Muralikrishna, who is holding Senior Management position in one of top pharmaceutical companies, has made an Audio Album on Bhagavad-Gita with 108 Sanskrit-Shlokas singing based on Classical Carnatic ragas and with narration in Hindi. The album is made with conceptualization of management theories and spirituality to be useful for all to lead the life with high values. While talking with Dr. D. Muralikrishna we came to know that he is the FIRST Scientist, who made the Audio Album on Bhagavad-Gita with life management concepts and spirituality.
Surprisingly, he has made the Audio not only in Sanskrit-Hindi but also made in Sanskrit-Telugu. Further he published in book form in both Hindi & Telugu. Though, he is not a professional singer and without any classical base, he could do the extraordinary work on this project and got appreciations by veteran experts in classical Carnatic music such as from Shri. P. Nandakumar – “A grade Artist” in Classical Carnatic Music and from Shri Annavarapu Ramaswamy, Veteran and recipient of many National Awards for his classical Carnatic music.
While in conversation with Dr. Muralikrishna, we found that, he has spent more than 3 years and Rs. 1 Crore of his own earnings and through loans to complete this great task in high standard. He was telling that, he has made this Album without any business purpose and he has made it available at free of cost to all to reach the essence of Gita to all. According to Dr. Krishna, this entire he could do because of the blessings of his parents only. His Audio & Book were launched by “Brahmasri Vaddiparti Padmakar”, eminent Scholar and popular TV personality in Andhra Pradesh at AP Bhawan, New Delhi. This program was organized by Delhi Telugu Sangham on its 40th Anniversary in association with Government of Andhra Pradesh. Subsequently, the Audio CDs and Books were distributed freely to all.
