The celebration of loving relationship of husband and wife # Karwa_Chauth was celebrated in City of Lakes on Thursday in traditional fervour. All the married women who performed puja of ‘Karwa Chauth’ observed whole day fast without a sip of water till the moon was seen in the sky, for long life of their husbands. Even the husbands also surprise their wives with karwa chauth gifts and other unforgettable moments of the day. They try to add more fun and joy to their lovely relationship. Here are some city people who shared their feelings for their loved once on this special occasion in conversation with Byline Bhopal.
Indian woman is a symbol of sacrifice and penance. On the day of #Karwa_Chauth, she fasts for her husband's longevity, health and happiness. It is also the duty of a husband to respect his wife, take care of feelings and fulfill the promise of marriage. I am praying to Karwa Maiya that your pair may last forever. My loving wife Sadhna Singh kept Nirjala fast. They took water only after worshipping and offering arghya to the moon. Like my wife, millions of crores of sisters of India kept the Nirjala fast for the longevity and happiness of their husband.
